These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Shinny USA INC (“Shinny USA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) website at www.shinnyusa.com and your participation in our hockey programs and related communications. By using our website, signing up to play, or participating in our programs, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or sign up for our programs.
Who We Are
Shinny USA INC is a recreational ice hockey league with locations throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. Our mailing address is 700 Lawrence Dr, West Chester, PA 19380. You can reach us at info@shinnyusa.com or 1-855-2-SHINNY.
Eligibility
Shinny USA programs are for adult participants. By signing up to play, you confirm that you meet our adult participation requirement and that all information you provide to us is accurate and complete.
Signing Up to Play
When you sign up to play through our website, you agree to provide accurate contact information, including your name, email address, mobile phone number, and mailing address, and to keep that information up to date. Program registration, scheduling, rosters, and session availability are managed by Shinny USA and may change from time to time.
Participation in our on-ice programs may be subject to additional requirements, such as a signed participant agreement or waiver. Those documents are separate from these Terms and will be provided to you as part of your program registration.
Email Communications
When you sign up to play or otherwise provide us with your email address, you may receive emails from us, including newsletters, program announcements, and schedule updates. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email, or by contacting us directly.
SMS / Text Message Terms
When you sign up to play through our website and provide your mobile phone number with your consent, you may receive SMS text messages from Shinny USA. These SMS terms describe that messaging program.
Program description. Shinny USA sends text messages related to your participation in our hockey programs, including:
- Reminders that you are scheduled for a specific game time or session
- Requests to confirm whether you will be attending a scheduled game or session
- Other transactional messages related to your participation in Shinny USA programs
Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your scheduled games and sessions.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.
How to opt out. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just reply STOP to any text message from us. After you send STOP, we will send you one final message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, contact us or sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
How to get help. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, reply HELP to any text message from us, or contact us directly at info@shinnyusa.com or 1-855-2-SHINNY.
Carrier disclaimer. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent. Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of signing up to play.
Your information. We will not sell or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors (such as Twilio, our SMS delivery provider) strictly for the purpose of delivering the SMS service is permitted. Our collection and use of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You agree not to interfere with the operation of the website, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or data, or use the website to transmit anything unlawful, harmful, or misleading.
